The low-weight Peak SL is a more speed-focused tire than its sibling, the Peak. It features a new cross-country race inspired design with closely spaced low-profile tread to reduce rolling resistance.

Born and bred for competition! The Peak SL contains pure blood DNA from the Peak, mated with the latest in research and development from within the Goodyear Bike factory to produce our lightest, fastest rolling, and focused MTB XC race tire yet. With a tread pattern designed to tame the challenging conditions found on modern World Cup level XC courses, and available in a wide 2.4″ carcass for when that extra volume is required.

The Goodyear Peak SL tire is lightweight, weighing only 710g for a 29X2.4 tire, making it one of the lightest tires in its class. Riders can achieve faster acceleration and experience better handling which is enhanced by the additional support and protection from its M:Wall sidewall protection layer, making it ideal for cross-country racing.
