The Merida Matts J24 Lite is built for younger riders taking the step up to a 24" wheel bike. It keeps things simple with a rigid fork and an easy 3-speed Shimano Nexus internal hub gear, so there's no derailleur to fuss with, while a coaster (back-pedal) rear brake backed up by a front V-brake gives intuitive, confidence-inspiring stopping power. Built on the same lightweight alloy frame technology as MERIDA's adult bikes, it's a comfortable, easy way to build skills on two wheels.
