A brushed, water-resistant GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER front blocks wind and light rain, while a stretchier, more breathable back panel lets heat escape.

It is uninsulated, so it works over a thin base layer in mild weather and with a thermal layer when it turns colder.
