The Pirelli Scorpion Race DH T is a no-compromise downhill racing tyre engineered in collaboration with three-time world DH champion Fabien Barel and proven at the highest level of the UCI World Cup DH circuit. T stands for Traction — and this tyre delivers it in every phase of the ride, whether accelerating out of corners, braking into them, or pushing hard on technical terrain. The tread features large knobs with pre-shaped central blocks designed to increase traction throughout the rotation, with the unique ability to cut the central knob for improved mud evacuation in intermediate conditions. The super-soft SmartEVO DH compound — a supersoft 42 Shore A formulation developed in Pirelli's Motorsport compound department using experience from the MX and Rally World Championships — is race-proven, temperature-stable, and delivers maximum wet grip without compromising overall stability thanks to a stiffer base compound. DualWALL+ casing provides a double-ply 60 TPI construction reinforced with cut-resistant sidewalls and a rubber bead insert, engineered to resist cuts, handle big impacts, and absorb trail vibration at race speeds.
