The Shimano GE900 GTX is the cold-weather version of Shimano's flagship SPD gravity shoe, built for aggressive enduro and downhill riding and racing when conditions turn wet and cold. A waterproof GORE-TEX membrane upper with a stretchy, elasticated ankle cuff keeps water and trail debris out, while the BOA® L6 dial with bash guard shield allows quick, precise closure adjustment even with winter gloves on. Underneath, the TORBAL 2.0 midsole lets the heel section move torsionally for improved comfort, fluidity and on-bike control, backed by a full-length nylon midsole reinforced with carbon for stiff, efficient pedalling. The women's and men's Volume Trail Last sits tighter around the ball of the foot for direct power transfer, with added volume through the toe box and heel for easy hike-a-bike sections. A cold-weather-optimised ULTREAD GE outsole and molded pedal channel deliver a stable, secure shoe-to-pedal connection on the roughest terrain.
